	Adapter for 303-224 (Handle) 205-153 (T80T-4000-W)
	Installer, PTO Dust Flange 308-432
	Installer, Seal 204-325
	Installer, Water Seal Carrier 204-322

Removal

All vehicles

1. Remove the brake drum. For additional information, refer to Section  206-02.

Vehicles with anti-lock brakes

1. Remove and discard the wheel speed sensor ring.

All vehicles

1. If equipped, remove and discard the water seal carrier.

1. Remove and discard the water seal carrier.

1. Remove the snap ring.

1. Using a press and suitable adapters, remove the wheel bearing.

1. Remove the water seal from the wheel spindle.
   • Discard the water seal.

Installation

All vehicles

1. NOTICE: Support the brake drum on the wheel mounting face and not on the wheel nut studs or damage to the wheel studs may occur.

   Using a press and suitable adapters, install a new wheel bearing.

1. Install the snap ring.

1. Using a suitable press, Water Seal Carrier Installer and Adapter Handle, install a new water seal carrier.

Vehicles with anti-lock brakes

1. NOTICE: Avoid impact on the wheel speed sensor ring and any contact between the sensor ring and a magnetic surface or damage to the sensor ring may occur. Make sure the wheel speed sensor ring is clean or sensor failure may occur.

   Using the PTO Dust Flange Installer, install a new wheel speed sensor ring.

All vehicles

1. Using emery cloth, or other suitable material, remove any pitting or corrosion from the leading edge of the wheel spindle seal running surface.

1. Using the Seal Installer, install the new water seal and protective cap.
   • Tighten the Seal Installer to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

1. Remove and discard the protective cap.

1. Install the brake drum. For additional information, refer to Section  206-02.
